I'm Nir, a specialized digital accessibility consultant serving Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg with nearly a decade of experience in the digital accessibility domain. As the former Head of Accessibility at Wix, I led the company's transformation from having no accessibility program to becoming the global leader in web accessibility in 2024. This success was achieved by building a comprehensive company-wide program that included WCAG accessibility audits, employee education, process optimization, the development of dedicated accessibility tools, and assembling an expert team of accessibility specialists.
During my tenure at Wix, I became a trusted advisor to companies across the BeNeLux region and beyond, guiding startups, established businesses, and venture capital firms on practical accessibility implementation. Recognizing the growing need for accessibility expertise in Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg - especially with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) set to take effect in mid-2025 - I founded NirA11y to dedicate myself fully to helping BeNeLux organizations navigate their accessibility journey efficiently. Whether you're a Dutch, Belgian, or Luxembourg business just starting with digital accessibility or looking to elevate your existing efforts, I bring practical experience and deep industry knowledge to help you succeed.
Based in the heart of the BeNeLux region, I offer straightforward, results-oriented accessibility consulting tailored to local business needs and European accessibility standards. Outside of accessibility, I hold a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, and I'm also a private pilot, bringing precision, dedication, and a pragmatic approach to every accessibility project I undertake.
